Question: What do I need in order to use MedianisSMIN?
Answer: It is necessary to have your username and password. If you do not have the username and password for connecting to MedianisNet, contact our payment centres where you can open an account. While logging onto the Internet, enter your username and password as well as the dial-up number for SMIN: 042 110-010

Question: I cannot log on when the "post dial terminal window" option is on.
Answer: In order to log onto the SMIN network, the"post dial terminal window" option needs to be off.

Question: Can MediaNis users of the “unlimit” service log on by dialing 042110-010?
Answer: Yes, they can. The “unlimit” service can equally be accessed by dialing the number 500-000, as well as the SMIN number 042110-010.

Question: I have an ISDN modem. Can I connect to the SMIN number 042110-010 in that case?
Answer: Certainly. The SMIN network supports connection through an ISDN modem. ISDN users can use one or two channels depending on their needs. If you use two channels, the time spent on the internet will be counted twice as much as if yu connect through one channel.

Question: How are phone impulses charged?
Answer: Phone impulses are charged at the price of a local call, which means that if you connect to the Internet from Vranje (or any other place in the country) via the Internet Service Provider in Nis , your phone impulses are charged as if you are dialing Vranje.

Question: How much do phone impulses cost?
Answer: The price of phone impulses is defined at the price level of a local call:

• For home clients 0,152 din/1 minute / weak traffic and 0,304 din/1 minute /strong traffic
• For business clients 0,251 din/1 minute / weak traffic and 0,502 din/1 minute /strong traffic

Question: What is the impulse interval duration?
Answer: The impulse interval duration is 1 minute in strong traffic and 2 minutes in weak traffic.

Question: What is strong traffic?
Answer: Strong traffic lasts from 07-15h / 17-21h when phone impulses are more expensive.

Question: What is weak traffic?
Answer: You can use weak traffic from 15-17h and 21-07h, as well as on Friday evenings from 21h to 07h on Monday mornings. National holidays are also included in the weak traffic flow.

Question: Is the internet service charged separately from the phone bill?
Answer: Yes, it is. The charge for internet services of Medianis has nothing to do with your phone bill.
